Progress in Addressing the Forest Fire in Todos Santos and Las Pozas, Santa María Huatulco

The forest fire in Todos Santos and Las Pozas, Santa María Huatulco, is 95% mitigated. Vigilance is maintained to prevent reactivation.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, continues to address the fire that started in the community of Todos Santos and subsequently spread to the community of Las Pozas, which has been mitigated by 95%.

During this day, efforts focused on the Las Pozas area, achieving significant control of the blaze. The CONAFOR brigade, personnel from Huatulco National Park, and community residents participated in these coordinated efforts, combining forces to contain the fire's advance. Currently, community residents are maintaining vigilance to prevent a possible reactivation.

The joint effort is recognized, and the public is urged to remain vigilant and report any eventualities.
