Authorities Coordinate Timely Action Regarding Possible Explosive Device

Huatulco: Civil Protection responded to a device report at CFE. Police and Navy confirmed it was pyrotechnics. Situation controlled.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, responded to a report regarding a device located at the entrance of the CFE facilities.

Security protocols were immediately activated, with the support of the Municipal Police, Traffic Police, and personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy, who confirmed that it was a pyrotechnic device with a gunpowder smell.

Thanks to prompt inter-institutional coordination, the situation was controlled without incident, ensuring the safety of personnel and citizens.
