As part of FESTUR Huatulco 2026, fifth-grade students from Centro Escolar Huatulco took part in the “Good Environmental Practices on Huatulco’s Beaches” activity, held at Santa Cruz Beach.
During the event, they cleaned the beach, sorted and weighed waste, and learned more about protecting coastal ecosystems, proper waste management, and the importance of certifications such as Blue Flag.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, continues to promote environmental education initiatives to foster care for and respect for our natural resources from an early age.
