AMID MEMORIES AND TRADITIONS, HUATULCO BID FAREWELL TO ITS DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATIONS!

Families, artists, and collaborators closed Huatulco’s Day of the Dead festivities, honoring memories and traditions.

The municipal cemetery of Santa María Huatulco became a gathering place filled with memories and expressions of affection, as families came to keep vigil for their departed loved ones, share moments together, and keep alive the memory of those who have passed.

Paths decorated with marigold flowers, lights, skulls, and traditional elements gave special meaning to the celebration, which included Masses, dance, theater, and music performances, the “Voices of Remembrance” singing contest, and the Catrinas and Catrines Gathering.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, thanks the families, artists, and collaborators who took part in the closing events of these festivities.

This is how we celebrate our traditions, honoring the past and sharing our roots with new generations!
