To strengthen the planning and land-use management instruments for our municipality, a working meeting was held between members of the Honorable Municipal Council of Santa María Huatulco and the consulting team responsible for preparing them, coordinated by the Directorates of Urban Development and Municipal Planning.
During the meeting, participants reviewed technical processes and progress, as well as the public consultation stages for the various land-use management instruments. Council members shared their views and offered valuable contributions and observations to help improve their content.
The commitment to follow up on the public consultation process was also reaffirmed so that, once the relevant stages are complete, these instruments can be submitted to the Honorable Municipal Council for consideration, possible approval, and subsequent publication.
The Municipal Government, headed by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, is working toward a Huatulco with orderly, sustainable development and a vision for the future, prioritizing public participation and responsible land-use planning.
