With the aim of reducing risks during the upcoming rainy season, work continues in the Ampliación J sector, where gabion walls are being reconstructed to prevent landslides that could affect residents. Similarly, cleaning efforts are being carried out in the stream, strengthening preventive measures in the area.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Public Works Council in coordination with the Municipal Public Services Directorate, will organize a "tequio" (community work) in the coming days with the participation of residents and municipal staff to remove accumulated material. Likewise, citizens are urged to place sandbags as a preventive action.
To prevent is to care; together we strengthen our environment.
