Civil Protection elements rescued a male individual in the area known as Playita Virgen, on the right side of La Entrega.
The person was swimming when they were dragged into a choppy water area, causing panic as they could not touch the bottom and ingested water. Immediately, personnel acted by applying water rescue protocols, using flotation equipment to bring them to the surface and to safety.
The incident was controlled without major complications, and the situation remained without further issues.
During these December holidays, we urge citizens and visitors to take extreme precautions, respect the instructions of security personnel, and avoid entering the sea in unauthorized areas, to prevent risks and safeguard everyone's integrity.
