With strong participation from chess players, Huatulco experienced two days of talent, concentration, and strategy during this national event, featuring competitions in the Open, Youth Under-14, and Children’s Under-12 categories, as well as special recognitions in the various categories.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, recognizes the work and organization of the Huatulco Chess Club and reaffirms its support for these types of events, which promote chess, encourage the participation of girls, boys, and young people, and enable Huatulco to continue serving as a host for events of national scope.
