Cabinet Drill for the Logistics and Operation of the Field Drill
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco participated in a Cabinet Drill at the Naval Zone, preparing for the Field Drill on February 18.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco participated today in the Cabinet Drill, held at the Huatulco Naval Zone facilities, as part of the planning and coordination efforts for the Field Drill that will take place on February 18, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional response capacity in the event of a possible spill.
During this exercise, working groups were formed, comprising different technical field and operational areas that act in a coordinated manner in emergency situations. These groups developed logistics and operational actions, allowing for the establishment of clear mechanisms for action, communication, and coordination.
ASIPONA, Civil Protection and Firefighters, CONANP, Red Cross, ZOFEMAT, the Secretariat of the Navy, the Mexican Navy – Twentieth Naval Zone, as well as Municipal Public Security participated in this activity, reaffirming the institutional commitment to prevention, safety, and the protection of the population and the natural environment.
