Santa María Huatulco Government

With great citizen participation, the festivities of the First Friday of Lent 2026 took place, a celebration that brought together families, visitors, and the community in general to enjoy our traditions.
The cultural program, organized by the Houses of Culture of Santa María Huatulco, filled the night with music, folk dance, guitar and trova, as well as sones, games, and chilenas that highlight our identity. The celebration included the traditional castle burning, and concluded with dancing and enjoying music in an atmosphere of joy and family togetherness.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, thanks the participation of everyone who was part of this important festivity that keeps our roots alive and strengthens the unity of our community.
