The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, participated in the Change of Command Ceremony of the Twentieth Naval Zone, reaffirming its commitment to coordinated work in favor of regional security and well-being.
During the event, the outstanding work of Vice Admiral Gonzalo Escobar Montoya was recognized, as he concluded his assignment at the helm of this important institution, leaving a legacy of service, steadfastness, and commitment to the Huatulco community.
Likewise, a welcome was extended to Vice Admiral Epigmenio Javier Rodríguez Balbuena, the new head of the Naval Zone, to whom the Municipal Government's willingness to work jointly for the peace, security, and development of Santa María Huatulco was reiterated.
With unity and commitment, Huatulco will continue to be an example of coordination among the three levels of government in favor of security and social order.
