Civil Protection Responds to Forest Fire in Rural Huatulco
Huatulco Civil Protection responded to a forest fire on January 6 in El Hule and El Faisán, controlling the blaze and preventing its spread.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, provided timely attention to a forest fire registered on the night of Friday, January 6, in the vicinity of the communities of El Hule and El Faisán.
Operational personnel and paramedics moved to the site aboard a tanker truck, an ambulance, and a light unit, proceeding to combat the fire by establishing hose lines and using manual tools, successfully controlling the fire and preventing its spread.
