Huatulco Municipal Cemeteries Certified as Larva-Free Spaces
Huatulco's municipal cemeteries in Santa María and Santa Cruz have been certified as Larva-Free Spaces by Oaxaca Health Services.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, received certification as a Larva-Free Space and Promoter of a Favorable Health Environment for Huatulco's two municipal cemeteries: Santa María Huatulco and Santa Cruz Huatulco, granted by Oaxaca Health Services.
This significant achievement is the result of coordinated and constant work by the Council and Cemetery Directorate team, as well as the incorporation of the entomology area of the malaria program, reaffirming the municipality's commitment to prevention, public health, and the creation of safe environments for the population.
It is worth noting that both cemeteries are among the cleanest and best-evaluated in the state of Oaxaca, exemplarily complying with the guidelines of this certification.
