Territorial Planning in Huatulco: Common Front to Stop Invasions
Huatulco's Human Settlements Table met with municipal, federal, and state authorities to coordinate actions against invasions and irregular settlements.
In Huatulco, the Human Settlements Collaboration and Coordination Table met, with the participation of the Municipal President, Eng. Julio Cárdenas, and federal and state authorities, to follow up on agreements and determine coordinated actions to stop invasions, address housing demand, and fundamentally resolve the problem of irregular settlements, for the benefit of our tourist destination.
The three levels of government concur in their commitment to halt the illegal occupation of land in federal properties, protected natural areas, and generally within the municipal territory.
We appreciate the presence of the heads of the Secretariat of Government and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Oaxaca, the Undersecretariat of Territorial, Urban, and Housing Planning of SEDATU, and the Sustainable Soil Institute.
With these actions, the Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to legality.
