Huatulco Strengthens Actions Against Invasions in Green Areas

Huatulco's Municipal Government responded to reports of invasion in a green area of the Flores Magón neighborhood, urging the invaders to withdraw.

This Sunday, in response to reports from citizens and residents of the Flores Magón neighborhood, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco went to verify a green area where people were reported to be carrying out cleaning and earthwork with the intention of invading said land.
Present at the scene were the Municipal Police, the Housing Directorate, elements of the Navy, and the Regional Peace Delegate from the Oaxaca State Government Secretariat, who spoke with both the already regularized residents and the people found in the area, clarifying that there is no municipal authorization or permits to occupy land irregularly. The individuals attempting to settle were urged to withdraw, as in addition to lacking any authorization, their actions constitute a violation of the law.

Likewise, a prevention and dissuasion patrol was carried out to prevent any attempt at invasion, ensuring the order and tranquility of the community.

The Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to act with firmness and transparency in these situations, protecting public spaces, green areas, and Protected Natural Areas.
