Huatulco Strengthens Its Presence in Cruise Tourism
Huatulco secures two FCCA Platinum memberships, one as a destination and one for its port, boosting cruise tourism. 27 cruises confirmed for 2025-2026.
For the first time, Huatulco holds two Platinum memberships with the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA): one as a destination, managed by the Municipal Government, and another through the port, acquired by ASIPONA, under the administration of the Port of Salina Cruz.
This dual representation allows for better coordination among entities such as the port administration (ASIPONA), which also joins as an active FCCA member for the first time, promoting joint actions to strengthen the cruise segment in the destination.
Thanks to this strategy, 27 cruises have already been confirmed for the 2025-2026 season, a figure that represents a significant increase compared to last year.
This growth directly benefits local tourism service providers, while promoting an orderly and sustainable development model. These efforts contribute to the continued growth of tourism in Huatulco.
