Promoting Prevention and Knowledge about Sexual Violence in Young People of Arroyo Xúchitl

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Institute for Women in collaboration with the Health Department, conducted the talk “Sexual Violence” aimed at the students of the Integral Community Baccalaureate of Arroyo Xúchitl.

This activity aimed to provide clear and precise information on the various manifestations of sexual violence, its consequences, prevention mechanisms, and care pathways, thereby promoting awareness and respect in the school and community environment.

Additionally, the support, guidance, and counseling services offered by the Municipal Institute for Women were promoted to those who may require specialized care.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco reaffirms its commitment to building safe, informed, and violence-free environments, especially for the young people of our municipality.
