Local Producers Receive Creole Corn Seeds
Santa María Huatulco's Municipal Government delivered over 2,170 kg of creole corn seeds to 140+ producers to strengthen agricultural production.
With the aim of strengthening agricultural production in the region, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Rural Development, delivered more than 2,170 kilograms of creole corn seeds for planting, benefiting more than 140 producers from the communities of Arroyo Xúchitl, San José Cuajinicuil, Bajos de Coyula, and Bajos del Arenal.
These seeds, produced by the Rural Development technical team itself, are part of the efforts to recover the countryside after Hurricane Erick, reaffirming the commitment to the sustainable development of the coastal zone.
The Municipal Government continues to promote initiatives that foster the recovery and strengthening of the Huatulco countryside, aware that investing in the rural sector is sowing a future for future generations.
