Protecting Our Natural Resources
Huatulco's Municipal Government and Ostioneros Santa Cruz cleaned Pescadores beach and its seabed, collecting waste. This action strengthens environmental culture and co-responsibility.
With a firm commitment to protect our ecosystems, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (ZOFEMAT) and in coordination with the Ostioneros Santa Cruz group, carried out a beach and seabed cleanup day at Pescadores beach, Santa Cruz.
Results obtained:
Inorganic waste collected:
- Soft plastics: 1.5 kg
- Glass: 3 pieces
- Clothing: 2.630 kg
- PET: 1.170 kg
- Organic waste: 6.500 kg
This action not only removes waste but also strengthens environmental culture and co-responsibility in the care of our ecosystems.
