Commemoration of World Hug Day

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the Directorate of Health, held a talk to commemorate World Hug Day, aimed at Barceló hotel staff.
During the activity, the benefits of hugging in the workplace, family, and personal spheres were discussed, highlighting its positive impact on communication, emotional health, and daily coexistence.
This action aimed to strengthen emotional bonds, foster self-esteem, empathy, and interpersonal connection, as well as promote environments of trust and mutual support, allowing participants to experience the physical and psychological benefits of hugging, such as stress and anxiety reduction.
