CCXIX Anniversary of the Birth of Benito Juárez

Santa María Huatulco commemorated the 219th anniversary of the birth of Benito Juárez with civic ceremonies.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, commemorated the 219th anniversary of the birth of Benito Juárez with two civic ceremonies, one in Santa María Huatulco and another in Santa Cruz Huatulco, highlighting the legacy of the Benemérito de las Américas as a fundamental pillar in the history of Mexico.

The events were led by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, Municipal President, accompanied by his wife, Lic. Jazmin Villar, Honorary President of the Municipal DIF System, as well as military, state, and municipal authorities. Also present were directors of the H. Ayuntamiento and municipal collaborators, who paid honors in this important commemoration. Institutional contingents from the Primary School, Centro Escolar Huatulco, CETMAR Huatulco, and COBAO Plantel 22 Huatulco also participated, in addition to the escort of the Municipal Police and the War Band of COBAO Plantel 22, who proudly represented their institutions on this significant date.

Juárez promoted justice, equality, and the strengthening of the rule of law, values that continue to inspire the construction of a more just and democratic society. Honoring his memory is reaffirming the commitment to the principles that have forged our history.
