Screwworm Prevention Brigade
Huatulco's Municipal Government, with Senasica, launched a screwworm prevention brigade, treating livestock to protect animal health and productivity.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Rural Development, in collaboration with the National Service for Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (Senasica), carried out a screwworm prevention and response brigade.
During the operation, preventive treatments were applied to livestock, with the aim of protecting animal health and preventing the spread of this pest that affects the productivity of the livestock sector.
The Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of rural communities and the strengthening of agricultural health in Huatulco.
