Actions Advance for Regional Territorial Planning

Santa María Huatulco's government, via CONANP, met with neighboring municipalities to advance regional territorial planning, emphasizing clear boundaries and cooperation.

With the aim of promoting more orderly and sustainable development, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP), held a meeting with the communal representatives of the municipalities of San Pedro Pochutla, Santa María Huatulco, and Benito Juárez, as well as with the municipal president of San Pedro Pochutla.

During this meeting, the technical study project for territorial and micro-regional planning, managed through CONANP, was presented, emphasizing the importance of having well-defined boundaries between communities to strengthen respect for adjacent areas.

Furthermore, proposals were reviewed to reach agreements in accordance with the official documentation of each locality, in an exercise of dialogue and cooperation among neighboring municipalities.

These actions reflect the ongoing commitment to territorial development that benefits everyone.
