Authorities Reinforce Surveillance in Irregular Settlements
Huatulco and Navy authorities reinforced surveillance in irregular settlements to prevent federal land occupation. A tree felling report was addressed.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Santa Cruz Huatulco Municipal Police Command and in coordination with personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy, conducted prevention and dissuasion patrols in the areas known as Emiliano Zapata and Ricardo Flores Magón invasions, with the purpose of preventing the irregular occupation of federal property land.
During the operation, a citizen report regarding tree felling in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood was addressed, where authorities urged those present to cease their activities and respect the corresponding legal provisions.
