Immediate Attention and Protection for Newborn in Vulnerable Situation

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, reports that during the early hours of this day, a newborn in a vulnerable situation was reported in the Municipal Agency of Santa Cruz Huatulco.
Immediately, the infant was transferred to the Community Hospital, where she is currently receiving medical attention and will remain under care according to established protocols to ensure her well-being.
Following the notification made by the hospital, the intervention of the Municipal DIF System was requested, through the Office of the Prosecutor for the Protection of Girls, Boys, and Adolescents, an entity that provides the corresponding institutional support to safeguard the rights of the minor.
Furthermore, the case is already being addressed through legal channels, in coordination with the competent authorities, prioritizing at all times the best interests of the child and the necessary measures to guarantee her comprehensive protection.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco reiterates its commitment to the protection and well-being of the girls, boys, and adolescents of the municipality, working in a coordinated manner to ensure their rights.
