ASIPONA Huatulco Welcomes FCCA Representatives
Huatulco's Municipal Government met with FCCA representatives to review security protocols and ensure high standards for cruise ship arrivals.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Council and Tourism Directorate, attended a security meeting due to the visit of representatives from the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA).
During the meeting, Yerandys Martell, Director of Security Services at Carnival Cruise Line and Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO), as well as Ricardo Karakadze, Senior Director of Global Maritime Security at Carnival Corporation, participated.
Security protocols applied during each cruise ship arrival at the destination were supervised, with the collaboration of institutions from the three levels of government, including the XX Naval Zone and the Port Captaincy.
The day concluded with a tour of the cruise pier, working on the joint commitment to maintain the highest standards of security and service for visitors arriving at this important tourist destination.
