Modernization of the Salina Cruz – Zihuatanejo highway, Pochutla – Huatulco section, begins in Huatulco. A historic project for regional connectivity and development.
The municipality of Santa María Huatulco hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the modernization of the Salina Cruz – Zihuatanejo highway, specifically the section connecting Pochutla with Huatulco. This project represents a historic advancement in connectivity, safety, and development for the region, benefiting not only the state of Oaxaca but especially Santa María Huatulco.
The event was attended by Maestro Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation of the Government of Mexico, as well as Engineer Salomón Jara Cruz, Governor of Oaxaca, who reaffirmed their support for this important project.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, expresses gratitude for the commitment of the President of Mexico, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and Engineer Gilberto Hernández Morales, head of SICT, who have focused on Huatulco and the Oaxacan Coast, promoting works that transform the future of the region.
We also highlight the participation of Architect Carlos Vichido Hernández, State Secretary of Infrastructures, and Mtra. Saymi Pineda Velasco, who have shown a strong commitment to the transformation of Oaxaca.
In Huatulco, work continues with unity and regional vision, building a better future together for everyone.
