Alliances that Strengthen Huatulco

Huatulco strengthens key sectors like education, water, roads, and social programs through the "Work that Transforms Your Municipality" strategy.

During the visit of the State Governor, Eng. Salomón Jara Cruz, and the honorary president of the State DIF, Lic. Irma Bolaños, the strategy "Work that Transforms Your Municipality" was launched, a comprehensive day of actions aimed at strengthening key sectors for the well-being of the communities of Santa María Huatulco.

In the education sector, important benefits were announced:

  1. Delivery of school furniture
  2. Improvement of educational infrastructure
  3. Construction and remodeling of classrooms
  4. Upcoming equipping with computers and printers

With an investment of 20 million pesos in educational material, these actions aim to improve the learning conditions for children and young people in the municipality.

In the field of drinking water service, strategic projects will be developed such as:

  1. Construction of the conduction line for Juquilita, Montecristo, San Pablo, and Vainilla
  2. Construction of the drinking water system in the Municipal Agency of Arroyo Xúchitl
  3. Validation of the project for the drinking water network that will benefit all communities in the strip corresponding to the Municipal Agency of Santa Cruz Huatulco.

The investment in this area exceeds 65 million pesos, with the firm purpose of guaranteeing the right to water for the communities of Huatulco.

Through the "Caminos Bienestar" program, the paving of the section connecting San Antonio Las Pozas, Limoncito, Pueblo Viejo, and Todos Santos will continue, improving regional mobility and connectivity.

Food programs that strengthen food security and family well-being will also be implemented:

  1. Guisos de Mi Pueblo (Dishes of My Town)
  2. Desayuno de Letritas (Little Letters Breakfast)
  3. Itacate de Mi Corazón (My Heart's Lunchbox)
  4. Latido Nutritivo (Nutritious Beat)
  5. Direct support for older adults.

In support of women and youth, the arrival of the following programs was announced:

  1. Mujer Primavera (Spring Woman)
  2. Mi Primera Chamba (My First Job)
  3. Tarjeta Margarita Maza (Margarita Maza Card), which will benefit 100 female heads of household in Santa María Huatulco.

In terms of health, the "La Clínica Es Nuestra" (The Clinic Is Ours) program will be implemented, focused on strengthening the municipality's medical units.

To boost the local productive sector, the following was announced:

  1. The expansion of the "Abasto Seguro de Maíz" (Secure Corn Supply) program.
  2. The implementation of a freezer program for artisanal fishing.
  3. The delivery of credits to agricultural producers.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, recognizes and appreciates Governor Salomón Jara's determined commitment to the comprehensive development of the municipality, as well as the joint work that is transforming realities today.
